Learn by doing: Through play and other fun hands-on activities, children learn about themselves, their environment, people and the world around them as well as the building block knowledge for reading, writing, math, science and social science. Activities also cultivate creativity, develop positive peer skills. Fine motor activities: Play activities such as drawing, building with blocks, music, and crafts help children expand their knowledge and understanding of the world while developing hand-eye coordination and other fine motor skills. Healthy Eating & Activity Children learn to identify food groups and make healthy food choices through provided breakfast and snacks. The daily schedule includes time physical activity, both as free time and through guided activities (outdoor games, dance, etc) that allows children to stay active, develop their gross motor skills, and interact with peers.
